Outcomes First Group names Mark Whitfield as Gulf regional chief

Mark WhitfieldOutcomes First Group, one of the largest independent providers of specialist education and care in the UK, has appointed Mark Whitfield as regional chief executive for the Gulf Cooperation Council and established a regional headquarters in Dubai.

Whitfield has more than 30 years’ experience across UK and international education and will lead OFG’s regional strategy, working with partners to support the continued development of schools and services.

The Dubai hub will serve as a base for regional growth, enabling closer collaboration with governments, regulators and education partners.

OFG teaches more than 11,500 pupils across over 100 schools and employs 5,000 people.

OFG’s group chief executive David Leatherbarrow said: “This is a significant step in extending our international reach and impact. The GCC has a clear ambition to build world-class, inclusive education systems, and we see a strong opportunity to contribute to that journey.

“With Mark’s leadership and our regional base in Dubai, we are well positioned to build long-term partnerships and bring our proven approach to more students and communities across the region.”
